How To Start With Pixel Art

Pixel art is a form of digital art and its mostly used in old computer games or in mobile games. It used to be a very popular form of digital art but nowadays it is disappearing because of the new types of digital art, for example airbrushing.

The main idea is to add pixels one by one until you have a picture, thats why making a pixel pictures may take some time. But if you master the skill then the finished picture will be outstanding.

There is also a positive side to it - you don't need fancy programs to make pixel art. If you want to be a professional digital artist, then you have to have Adobe Photoshop or Corel and pc tablet. If you want to make pixel art pictures you need....ms paint or programs like that.

Most pixel artist have started with cube and it really shows the basics of pixel art. I have created a tutorial to show you how things work.

Now you should understand how pixel art works. But it isn't just about making cubes. To get more out of it, even from the normal cube, you should add textures. Adding textures is one of the key parts of being successful in pixel art.

As pixel art is done pixel by pixel then its very important to save pixel art properly. Its also recommended to save some backup files.
